Welcome and thank you for your interest in my practice. I have worked for more than 30 years with individuals and families who have experienced or are currently struggling with relationship issues, trauma, and/or substance abuse issues including codependence. Seeking therapy requires courage, and it would be my honor to work with you to offer a safe and caring place for you and your family to talk about yourselves, your lives, and the things in your lives that you would like to improve on. Together we can collaborate to use our strengths to help solve problems and achieve important goals.
I received my family therapy training at the Philadelphia Child and Family Training Center which grew from the Philadelphia Child Guidance Center, one of the birth places of family therapy. I believe that we all exist in the context of our relationships. Family therapy offers a new way to improve our lives by making positive changes to our relationships.
If you are struggling with a history of trauma, problems with alcohol and other drugs, and/or concerns about your relationships, I would like to work together to help. I believe that we all have strengths deep inside that we can harness to change our lives when another person is there to listen and understand without judging. That is my promise to you.
