When working with me, I make the therapeutic process transparent and collaborative by providing regular parenting support and consultation. I love to bring science, art, and play into the therapy room to help keep kids and teens engaged in the therapy process. Whether you are looking for support for yourself, your child, or your adolescent, I aim to provide a nonjudgmental, affirming, empathic, and safe environment to explore needs and goals.
I use a neuroscience-based approach to work with a variety of presenting concerns, including demand avoidance, anxiety, depression, grief, school issues, and other life stressors. I provide school observations and frequently consult with teachers. I am an AutPlay Certified Provider, and I emphasize affirming practices and resources in my work.
I believe that the struggles faced by children and teens impact the whole family, and I take a holistic approach that centers and promotes family cohesion and the parent-child attachment.
