About
Deciding to reach out for extra support is brave and I am so glad you have made it this far! I work with people who are finding that grief, life transitions, anxiety, depression, low self esteem/self worth, emotional disturbances, or issues in relationships are interfering with living the life they want. By using practical strategies and challenging unhelpful thought patterns we can work together to solve problems and build hope. People who are in marginalized or historically oppressed populations are welcome and respected in my practice.
You are the expert in your own life so my practice is empowerment based and strengths focused. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help people build resiliency and establish a sense of self-worth. Former clients have described my approach as warm, authentic, and practical.
My counseling is made available through MinuteClinic, located in CVS HealthHUB locations. You can schedule an appointment with me by calling the number listed in my profile or by visiting www.cvs.com/minuteclinic/services/mental-health-counseling.
