Hi! My name is Dr. Catherine Barrett and I have a dual focus in clinical and forensic psychology, as well as a background in marriage and family therapy. My practice focuses on young adults and adults working through various issues including coercive control and CPTSD, addictive and compulsive behaviors, anxiety, and chronic mental illness. In our world today, trauma remains unseen and often mislabeled with pathology. My specialty is to help each individual work through life experiences, without judgment, that may have led to patterns no longer serving them. My focus is in helping people rebuild a sense of self, enhancing internal validation, and creating self-awareness.
