I work with adults to develop a partnership for exploring ways to live a fuller, more quality filled life. I believe all of us can benefit from psychotherapy to develop a deeper understanding of ourselves and the human condition. Finding meaning in our lives helps us cope with the inevitable suffering we experience on our journey.
As former Clinical Faculty at the STEP Clinic at UNC my focus was on psychosis, mood disorders, anxiety disorders,trauma/ PTSD, and personality disorders. After expanding into private practice I now also work with individuals facing eating disorders, grief, life transitions (divorce, new job, difficult relationships, etc.), and personal growth.
I truly love the work I do and am a warm, nonjudgmental, compassionate person who values developing a genuine connection to join in discovering what is meaningful and fulfilling in one's life.
