Pajama Forward Therapist here! We are called to an authentic life. One where we honor how our brains work instead of forcing our square peg brains into another round hole. I’ve discovered the magic of working with my brain instead of against it. I want to help you do the same. Much of what I learned in grad school doesn’t work for us. My clients are encouraged to show up authentically, even if that’s in pajamas. I’m a pajama forward therapist! I use therapy techniques designed for us including Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR. They get us to the deep work and root of the issues.
I have tools. I will give you tools. It’s not just talking and empathy. I’ve trained my ass off to give you therapy that you will move through and get better. Come prepared to work and I will do the same. I celebrate diversity including adhd/autism, queerness, race and love styles. I see many trans folks.
In addition to being adhd/audhd/neurodivergent/neurospicy, my clients are often queer, BIPOC and poly. We struggle to navigate a world that isn’t designed for us. It’s exhausting. Many of us were told we are lazy, unmotivated, inconsistent and full of unused potential. We feel like inadequate imposters. It’s common to use substances to turn down the noise.
