The clients whom I am best suited to treat are people who have stress in their life and want something to change. Everyone deals with difficult things in life. Whether it is job stress, divorce, moving, family struggles, loss, parenting, financial stress, or any other life stresses. You don't have to feel stuck and overwhelmed. Depression, worries, and feeling tired go hand in hand with life stress. You don't have to figure it all out by yourself.
I am a Gottman Level 2 therapist and utilize relationship assessment and strengthening the whole relationship to help work through, and protect against, life stress's impact on relationships.
I believe the Solution Focused approach is unique to what people often expect from individual therapy. A perception of therapy is lying on the couch talking about your childhood. Therapy is more. People come to therapy for a reason and finding solutions for that reason becomes the focus and goal.
