I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families, bringing a thoughtful and genuine approach to our work together. Whether you or your child are facing anxiety, grief, relationship stress, or feeling stuck, my goal is to create a space that feels safe and free from judgement. Connection, honesty, and humor are powerful tools for growth.
I draw from evidence-based approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Play Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). My goal is to help clients not only understand their thoughts and emotions, but also to develop strategies for coping with stress.
I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Iowa and completed my clinical therapy practicum at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics' Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic. I’m currently working toward independent licensure under the supervision of Bobby Jo Salm at Beacon of Hope Counseling in Coralville.
