About
I approach my work with a belief in the power of the human connection and the ability of people to nurture one another. Beginning with a relationship based on respect and empathy, my goal is to help people create a more balanced life, one that is both authentic and open to change. I view our process as collaborative and know that to communicate freely, people must feel safe, supported and connected. In this space, one is better able to express their needs, provide feedback and develop insight into their own experience.
My focus with couples, hoping to save or enhance their relationship, is to help them become more open, attuned and responsive to each other in order to reestablish their emotional connection. When couples break destructive cycles of interacting and communicate their needs clearly, both the relationship and individuals can flourish.
I am also the founder of City Therapy, a group practice with offices in Brooklyn, Union Square and Flatiron. For the fastest response, please visit our website at www.citytherapy.nyc and fill out an appointment request.
