I specialize in working with adults who have experienced several trauma events. Trauma is a deeply personal experience that can affect every aspect of your life. It is the loss of control over safety. It can be a single event or a series of experiences that leave you feeling overwhelmed and powerless. Trauma can cause intense feelings of fear, anxiety, and even physical pain. It can make you feel like you are reliving the event over and over again, and it can affect your ability to trust others or feel safe in your own body. Trauma can also cause you to question your own self-worth and make you feel like you are alone in your pain.
Together we will explore how trauma has impacted you. I have eight years of experience utilizing EMDR to address trauma symptoms, assisting you in feeling better faster. It is important to know EMDR isn't just utilized to treat PTSD, this treatment can assist in navigating symptoms of anxiety, depression, and other common mental health concerns.
I am passionate about helping people find the right care. I especially love working with parents passionate about being healthy for their kids. Whether you see myself, or I help you find another clinician, I'm happy to help. I enjoy providing consultation services for parents, but do not provide direct care to children.
