Hi, I'm a therapist who genuinely cares about fostering a relaxed, non-judgmental atmosphere in my counseling sessions. I welcome clients who may be facing relationship problems, grief and loss issues, the effects of trauma, mental health concerns, or other issues. Many people find that they need additional support when life obstacles negatively impact their emotional, mental, and/or spiritual well-being. Left unaddressed, these challenges can lead to feelings of powerlessness and hopelessness. I aim to help clients engage in the process of emotional healing, accepting themselves, and finding peace.
I have worked with individuals in a variety of settings over the years, such as at an inpatient psychiatric hospital, in programs for people with disabilities and chronic illnesses, in bereavement counseling, and in assessment. I have particular interest in working with anyone facing a crisis stemming from a life change, grief or loss, or other obstacle.
My approach with clients is empathic and collaborative. It's important to me that clients feel that they have been heard. I believe that mistakes, trauma, or circumstances do not have to define you, but rather, can become opportunities for personal growth and empowerment.
