I’m a queer therapist who is dedicated to creating an affirming therapeutic experience for you. I focus my practice on working with adults (ages 18 and older) who need a safe, nonjudgmental space to identify their challenges and goals related to their LGBTQIA+ identity, trauma, race/cultural background, abilities, neurodiversity, and experiences in their family of origin or chosen family. I also have expertise in helping people explore and change their relationship with alcohol, substance use, and other addictions.
In our culture of selfies and compare despair, it is easy to feel like an outsider or other. I’m a supportive social worker who practices compassion inside and outside the therapy room. In addition to focusing on LGBTQIA+ communities, addictions, and trauma, I work with clients who experience anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and chronic illness.
