Hi, I'm Cassie. I strive to create a space where my clients feel seen and supported and where they can begin to find the beauty and strength within themselves and their stories even amidst pain and struggle.
With children, I incorporate play, sand tray, art, movement, and more to help process through their challenges and big feelings. I also incorporate parents & caregivers when possible by offering parent consultation sessions to help you understand what your child is feeling and what they need.
With teens and adults, I use a variety of modalities to address issues such as anxiety, depression, family issues, grief & trauma. I especially love supporting individuals who have family members struggling with addiction and mental illness, helping them navigate how to support their loved one while incorporating boundaries that maintain their own serenity.

Groups
Adolescent DBT Group
Our teen Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) group is a psychoeducational group, not a process group, designed for adolescents to learn and practice skills related to DBT. DBT is a type of cognitive-behavioral therapy that combines elements of acceptance and change to help individuals manage their emotions, improve interpersonal relationships, and cope with distress. The four modules of DBT include: Core Mindfulness, Emotion Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. DBT is used to help individuals who struggle with emotional dysregulation, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and other challenging behaviors. Our teen DBT group empowers adolescents with the tools they need.
