I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) based in Omaha, NE and working with individuals statewide via telehealth. I work with people across the lifespan (5-99+), especially those dealing with depression, anxiety, coping with big life changes including grief, personality disorders, and severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI). I most often utilize a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and strengths-based approach to help people identify their strengths and utilize those strengths to make progress and feel better.
My approach varies based on each individual's unique needs in therapy. I most often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help people understand why they think and feel the way they do.
I strive to create a secure, warm, and welcoming environment in session where people feel safe and comfortable to talk with me about anything. I approach each session with patience, genuine interest and curiosity, and unconditional positive regard.
