I welcome clients from all backgrounds. I have clinical experience working with adults who experience severe and persistent mental illness (SPMI) as well as adults recovering from trauma. You do not need to have experienced either of those things to enjoy a rich therapeutic experience however; you only need to have a desire to show up and see what we can uncover together. I believe all people can benefit from therapy, and that the client-therapist relationship is vital to ensuring a rich and rewarding therapeutic experience. I operate from a conversational, person-centered approach in therapy.
I aim to create a space that cherishes and creates safety for members of minority groups and the LGBTQIA+ community including indigenous, Black, POC, women, femme-presenting, nonbinary, trans people, and queer and questioning individuals. I believe that recognizing, dismantling, and unlearning white supremacy is a lifelong endeavor that benefits all.
