Cassandra Allen- LMFT; specializing in helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of relationships and life's challenges. With 15 years of experience in the field, I am passionate about guiding my clients toward healthier, more fulfilling connections with themselves and others. My therapeutic methods are eclectic, drawing from a variety of evidence-based practices such as CBT, Adlerian Therapy, and Family Systems Theory. I have experience working with a diverse range of clients, including couples, parents, and individuals facing relationship difficulties, life transitions, and emotional distress.
My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, understanding, and collaboration. I was a parent volunteer at the school, when our children were growing up. I was asked to assist in parenting training based on how we raised our children. I was later asked to be an after-school volunteer with children/parents who were struggling.
One of my children’s teachers asked if I had ever considered being a counselor based on my success with some of the parents and children. I already had a bachelor’s degree. I enrolled in the master's program and became an LMFT. Goals are developed by the Client based on their identified needs.
