I am intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and EMDR, as well as clinically trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and MI. I have extensive experience working with persons experiencing difficulty expressing emotions, manifestations of trauma and addiction (in all forms), issues with relationships, identity, and self harm (injury, low esteem).
Areas of competence: DBT, EMDR, CBT. Individual, parenting, and family counseling. Coping w/ difficult situations, emotion regulation, controlling/understanding one's emotions, relationships with oneself and others, mindfulness, decreasing anxiety and depression. Self harm, suicidal ideation, feeling "empty", decrease stress, taking control back, balance.
