My goal is to help you feel safer within yourself and in your relationships, and where you can begin to make sense of intense emotions and thoughts. I use evidence-based practices to help regulate emotions, reduce distress, process trauma at a manageable pace, and help regain confidence in your ability to make decisions and trust yourself again.
My areas of specialization include trauma, BPD, dissociation, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, OCD, and anxiety. I have extensive experience working with complex emotional pain and use approaches such as DBT and EMDR, along with I-CBT for OCD to help support you in loosening the grip of intrusive thoughts and process trauma and emotions safely.
The goal in therapy is to feel safe, be client-led, and begin first by building trust and safety within the therapeutic relationship. Without trust, it can be difficult to process difficult emotions. I’m flexible with clients’ needs, my style of therapy is tailored to each individual, and I’m empathetic while maintaining accountability and boundaries.
