My name is Casey Rath and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I utilize a Humanistic/Client-Centered/Existential approach to therapy focused on helping my clients create a meaningful, purposeful, and fulfilling life. I believe the key to successful therapy is developing a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients based on openness, honesty, authenticity, and non-judgment. While in therapy, we are "fellow travelers" on a journey to discover the answers that my clients seek.
I work with individuals, families, and couples of all ages and backgrounds. I have extensive experience treating clients with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, family conflict, parenting issues, grief/loss, phase of life problems, lack of meaning and purpose, trauma, and substance abuse.
I create a calm, relaxed, safe space environment for my clients. My goal for every session is that my clients feel seen, heard, and understood through genuine compassion and empathy. I also believe that humor is incredibly helpful in the therapeutic process.
