I have extensive experience with college-aged and K-12 students from my time spent as a university counselor and school social worker.
My approach to therapy is client-centered and strengths-based. I am trained in ACT, an evidence-based treatment model that utilizes acceptance, upholding values, and mindfulness practices. I am also trained in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) skills, and EFT (emotions-focused therapy).
As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, I value and respect diverse perspectives. I am passionate about helping people stay present while experiencing meaning and joy.
