I believe in the power of our inherent strengths to heal past trauma. My primary therapeutic approach is EMDR. This therapy essentially mirrors the way our brains naturally process experiences. Traumatic experiences are a shock to our systems can can cause intense emotions, stress, negative thoughts, etc. EMDR can help resolve those issues!
I believe that mind-body integration is vital to overall wellness. Emotions and experiences can get stuck in our bodies - a lump in the throat, burning red face, sick gut, etc. - that get triggered.
