Hello, welcome and congratulations for seeking therapy. Let's begin by dispelling a common misconception. The notion that therapy is for the weak and broken couldn't be more untrue. Therapy is for the brave and intrepid. Therapy is for those who are unwilling to accept how things are and want to take courageous steps towards their preferred ways of being. Whether your dissatisfaction lies in patterns that you can't seem to break free of, relationships that are most important to you, or in the daunting challenges posed by depression, anxiety, or any other of life's difficulties, your search for what's better is profoundly admirable.
Listening carefully with curiosity and openness to the stories and perspectives of each person I have the privilege of working with, together we will expose judgements and "shoulds" as the pollutants that they are so that we can more clearly establish and claim the things that are most important to YOU - allowing for a more authentic and meaningful life.
My atypical approach to therapy has led my clients and colleagues to refer to me as a "profound and outside of the box" thinker. I appreciate this designation, not because I'm trying to be a revolutionary, but because I consider myself an evolutionary - an adaptable helper in this ever changing and challenging world.
