Some of my clients know exactly why they need therapy. They have concrete words to use, like childhood trauma, cPTSD, depression, or people-pleasing.
The majority of my clients don't have words yet, they just know they're suffering—something just feels off. Maybe there's a sense of numbness, of being shut down, or anxious. Or there's a lack of sense of purpose; a persistent feeling that something is wrong with them, or something's missing.
They come to therapy first to find a name for their suffering, then to find a way to feeling more alive.
I offer in-person and virtual therapy My approach is warm and curious: I believe if you can get curious about your suffering, you can heal it. We'll draw from somatic work, mindfulness, IFS, and a touch of humor to help you reconnect with yourself and find a greater sense of wholeness.
