In addition I have lived experience with autoimmune conditions and can offer an empathetic perspective to those who experience such challenges.
Therapeutic approaches I use include CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), EMDR, and Play Therapy. Play is the child's symbolic language & natural medium of expression. Through play therapy, children can express their experiences, feelings, perceptions, wishes, & needs. Caregiver involvement is an essential element in child treatment.
