Hello, I'm Dr. Ren.
Many of the people I work with have spent years trying to push themselves to function in environments that never quite fit them. On the outside they appear capable, thoughtful, and responsible- yet internally they feel overwhelmed, anxious, exhausted, or misunderstood. I specialize in working with neurodivergent adolescents and adults, including individuals with ADHD, autism, learning differences, and executive functioning challenges, as well as clients navigating identity exploration, relationships, burnout, and major life transitions. Therapy with me is collaborative and affirming. It is more than just talk.
Rather than trying to change who you are, we focus on understanding how your mind works, reducing distress, and helping you build a life that is sustainable and meaningful. Alongside insight into how your brain works, I offer concrete tools — emotional regulation skills, communication strategies, executive functioning supports tailored to your needs.
Many clients come to therapy after years of self-criticism because they have been trying to use strategies designed for a different kind of brain.
