My goal is to empower clients to create their own pathways to positive change and success. Using a strengths-based and healing-centered approach, I work side-by-side with clients to address mental health symptoms, build hope, increase confidence, gain insight, find solutions, improve relationships and navigate life transitions. Most importantly, I strive to create a warm, inviting and inclusive environment where feeling seen, heard and understood is the best medicine for the soul. I offer traditional talk therapy, equine-assisted/nature-based therapy and telehealth options.
Caryn is trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities including: equine-assisted psychotherapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and crisis management. She is also a Board Approved Clinical Supervisor through the MN Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy.
Personally understanding the power of incorporating animals and nature into self-care and the therapy process, I am honored to be able to share this unique healing modality with others.
