I have completed specialized instruction in using Exposure and Ritual Prevention (ExRP) in psychotherapy, including training at IOCDF's Behavior Training Institute and have 13 years of experience helping individuals with OCD and related disorders, as well as a total of 25 years of experience as a psychologist.
OCD can be very debilitating and often not well understood by even experienced clinicians. I offer specialty service in treating OCD and related disorders using the most up to date research verified interventions. I involve parents in treatment and provide education and resources to augment recovery and help people learn to change.
I use Exposure and Ritual Prevention, CBT, CBT for Tics, Habit Reversal Training (HRT) and exposure therapy. CBT and Exposure Therapy are considered best practices for working with OCD, Tics, Anxiety, and Phobias.

Groups
Emerging Adult OCD Support Group
This virtual group is for high school aged individuals with OCD who are currently in treatment or have had treatment for their OCD. Purpose of the group is for teens to support each other, set goals, discuss challenges and provide a community of people who get it. The group is led by Dr. Jefferies. This group is currently free. Interested persons must contact Dr. Jefferies for screening for fit in the group.
