My ideal client is willing to try different ways of thinking and new behaviors to improve their quality of life and relationships. They may exhibit symptoms of depression, anxiety, impulse control, codependency or problematic thinking. They are seeking to examine their life and explore ways to live more authentically.

By offering clients the opportunity to tell their story, feel understood and supported so they no longer feel alone. I like to draw on client’s experience and strengths and instill hope as we face this challenging work together. Therapy is not a linear process and it takes courage to look within for hope.

I use an interpersonal approach to therapy which focuses on the client-therapist relationship. I work with clients to cultivate a collaborative partnership, conceptualize their life predicament and explore ways to resolve their distress. I assist clients as they tap into their inner wisdom to find solutions to troublesome relationships and situations.
