Hello, my name is Cary Gauna. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I have always had a passion for helping people learn how to live satisfying and fulfilling lives. I have worked in behavioral health for at least 10 years and have fulfilled different roles in outpatient, vocational rehabilitation, residential treatment, and private practice. I also have experience as a massage therapist allowing me the knowledge to incorporate the benefits of the mind and body connection. My diverse background allows me to implement different interventions to cultivate a "whole person" approach of personal growth.
I believe that self-awareness allows us to understand how the body wants to protect us and how we can implement skills to manage symptoms. My style can be defined as warm, supportive, and positive allowing for a safe and therapeutic environment. I have always had a passion for helping people learn how to live satisfying and fulfilling lives.
