Hello there, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of California(LCS19005) and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Washington(LW61086617) . I graduated from UCLA with a masters in social work and with a BA in Psychology. I have more than 30 years of experience as a licensed mental health therapist. I work best with clients who ask questions, who are open and curious, who take a few notes and are willing to do the work. Expect to get a holistic assessment of areas that could use improvement, some kind of homework assignment, and some tools to start to practice.
I have worked primarily with clients experiencing relationship issues, anxiety, and depression. I have also quite a bit of experience working clients with ADHD, trauma, LGBTQ issues, and addictions. I use a range of techniques including but not limited to CBT, ACT, and Mindfulness in addressing the issues and goals clients bring to the table.
I appreciate clients who ask questions as this helps to build our connection which is the best way to be helpful to the client. Hopefully we hit it off and you feel like you made the right decision. I am a father of two adult daughters and have been happily married for 18 years. I am a spiritual person who loves cycling and playing pickleball.
