I incorporate sand tray, an expressive therapy with children or adults to create scenes of miniature worlds that reflect a person's inner thoughts, struggles and issues. This form of play therapy is practiced along with talk therapy using the sandbox and figures as communication tools.
With more than 20 years of experience working alongside clients, I specialize in depression, grief/loss, and anxiety. I work with couples on early marital adjustment and conflict containment and with child and adolescents on life skills. I am skilled in the areas of ADHD, career assessment, relationship concerns, and adjustment issues.
