Licensed Psychoanalyst, LCAT, MT-BC, LP
I'm a therapist trained in psychoanalysis and creative arts therapies with over fifteen years of experience. I draw from a variety of psychotherapeutic approaches such as Object Relations, CBT, and Humanistic Psychotherapy while using the creative arts as a complimentary means of exploration. I try to tailor my approach to your preferences and interests and work towards goals that you think will be helpful.
In sessions we explore what’s happening now, look at how past experiences may have formed ways of coping that may no longer work well, and try to find new perspectives in approaching persistent issues and problems. We can also use music, art, and photography as resources for working through life themes and struggles.
I have experience working with depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship issues, sexual difficulties, trauma, loss, end of life issues and coping with medical illness. My practice is diverse in terms of culture, race, and sexual orientation. Please call with any further questions or to make an appointment. Offices in Hartsdale and Katonah/Cross River.
