Hello, my name is Carrie L. Ryberg, MA, LCPC, NCC, and I have been practicing counseling for 13 years. Typically, I work with clients that have anxiety, depression, or previous trauma. Then, I will work with using an approach that would best help you with your needs. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness Techniques, and Solution Focus. I believe that sometimes we need some support during difficult times to help us cope and find the silver lining.
My tone is to provide you with a safe and secure environment to provide support in a non-judgmental way for you during sessions. It is a pleasure to be a part of the process of seeing others heal. Typically, goal setting will be done by you to provide me with what is happening in your life and what areas you feel need the most support.
In the first session, we will take 5-10 minutes to discuss the counseling process, confidentiality, and what to expect from counseling. The rest of the session will be focused on what is bringing you to counseling. I welcome you to reach out and get started today!
