At some point in life, nearly all of us feel something is out of balance. This can cause significant distress and be emotionally painful. In an atmosphere of acceptance and trust, we'll explore where it hurts, what is out of balance, and the root causes of emotional distress such as anxiety, depression, grief, and suffering. We’ll work together to address your symptoms, gain deeper awareness and understanding about yourself, and find greater meaning in your life. Just as our physical body has an innate propensity towards growth and healing, I believe we have an innate potential towards emotional growth and healing within us as well.
I focus on each person’s own unique life story through the lens of depth psychology, particularly the work of Carl Jung. We may use dreams, creative expression, and active imagination to help make what is unconscious conscious. By doing so, we can uncover unconscious influences in your life that have an impact on emotions, behavior, and relationships.
