We are born with a natural yearning to learn, love, be loved and be strong. We naturally respond to life's harder experiences in ways that try to cope with overwhelm, always hoping to feel safe and to grow. Clients often come to me when they are in significant pain, and realizing that their learned ways of surviving aren't helping them cope with life now. Together we'll work to uncover and heal wounds from surviving overwhelm alone. We'll prioritize safety and growth in our work, and use our relationship as a space where it is comfortable to be yourself, while feeling safe enough to take the necessary risks needed to heal.
I specialize in working with stress and how it manifests, whether that is depression, anxiety, sleeplessness, PTSD symptoms, and more. I use evidence-based techniques such as IFS (Internal Family Systems), IFIO (Intimacy from the Inside Out Couple's Therapy), EMDR and PCIT. I'm highly trained. I'm also certified in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy.
