If you are struggling with anxiety, depression or adjusting to new circumstances, I'll help you. When you come into my office, I won't tell you what to do. Instead, I will work to understand your struggles, advocate for you, brainstorm with you ways to navigate the ups and downs in life, help you gain and understand emotional resilience so that you feel confident in your ability to adapt to adversity and difficulties without long term complications, help you to communicate your needs skillfully and comfortably, and help you work to replace unhealthy coping behaviors with healthier coping strategies.
I have worked as a School Counselor in the city of Rochester since 2017 and as a mental health counselor since 2018. I help clients who struggle with anxiety, depression and difficulty adjusting to new situations and life circumstances. I have also worked extensively as a group therapist assisting clients who have struggled with unhealthy eating behaviors
Some fun facts about me: Some have called me an old soul. I'm a dog mom, coffee lover, bookworm, lover of all things 90’s & a glorified human jukebox. Being on "Name That Tune" is on my Bucket List. I love classic rock and going to concerts. Baking is my stress reliever because there is a beginning, middle and end.
