I am a licensed psychologist in the state of Colorado. I have the authority to practice under PSYPACT. I have been practicing psychotherapy for 20 years. Most recently, I served patients at UCHealth. Currently, in addition to providing services through Lightbrook Psychology, LLC, I am full-time clinical faculty at the University of Denver, Graduate School of Professional Psychology (GSPP). Apart from my professional work, I love spending time with my kids and my Golden Retriever. I love running, hiking, camping and creative writing. I have a running podcast that focuses on running, parenting and mid-life challenges.
For 13 years, I practiced clinical health psychology and worked with multiple concerns, in particular, adjustment to illness, anxiety, stress, pain, grief, relationship concerns and depression. I offer an integrative approach with a speciality in using mindfulness based psychotherapy. I also teach clinical and health psychology to doctoral students.
I believe that everyone deserves support through the challenges of life. Even when we have many strengths and have overcome many hardships, there are times when we need help from others. If you are at one of those times in your life, I want to be that person for you.
