I am Carrie Kroner, a licensed supervising professional clinical counselor. I work with children, adolescents, and adults to learn the skills they need to manage symptoms of anxiety and depression on their own. I truly enjoy guiding others and helping them to grow into the best version of themselves. I use my expertise and experience to tailor our time together to individual needs, whether that means getting on the floor to play a game to help a child feel comfortable, guiding families through productive conversation, or meeting with an individual to let them vent and gently pushing them toward productive discussion.
I am qualified as a Certified Trauma Practitioner with The National Institute of Trauma and Loss in Children. I have expertise in assisting clients who are struggling with traumatic life events. I am passionate about providing a safe, comfortable environment where clients become empowered to move from victims to survivors.
I have over 16 years of experience and offer a caring and compassionate approach to therapy (with both adults and adolescents), letting my clients know that they are not alone in their struggles. My ultimate goal is to teach my clients how to make their lifelong journeys more fulfilling.
