As life’s stressors begin to build for yourself and/or your child, it can be difficult to cope without needed support. In therapy, you can learn effective approaches to help your child with coping, processing emotions and finding practical solutions to problems. Children and pre-teens struggling with peer, academic, behavioral or self-esteem issues can learn social, emotional and educational skills which can facilitate better success and a more positive self-image.
My approach consists of providing a safe, non-judgmental space for exploration and growth. Collaboratively, we’ll develop therapy goals, determine your preferred intervention types and progress will be prioritized and monitored. My areas of expertise include ADHD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues and the development of personal identity .
Seeking support for yourself and/or your child can feel like a difficult first step. It takes prioritizing your needs and/or placing yourself is a position that feels vulnerable. As a therapist, I understand how challenging this can be. For that reason, your comfort and emotional safety are my top priority. Please don’t hesitate to reach out.
