As life’s stressors begin to build coping on your own can become challenging. Without proper support stress related to relationships, job/school issues, family and financial obligations can negatively impact your emotional wellbeing. In therapy, you can learn effective approaches to coping, support processing your emotions, help solving problems and making healthy decisions for yourself and your family. Children and teens struggling with peer, academic, behavioral or self-esteem issues can learn social, emotional and educational skills which can facilitate better success and a more positive self-image.
My approach consists of providing a safe, non-judgemental space for personal exploration. Collaboratively, we’ll develop therapy goals, determine your preferred intervention types and your progress will be prioritized and monitored. My areas of expertise include ADHD, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues and the development of personal identity .
Seeking support for yourself or a family member can feel like a difficult first step. It takes prioritizing your needs and/or placing yourself is a position that feels vulnerable. As a therapist, I understand how challenging this can be. For that reason, your comfort and emotional safety are my top priority. Please don’t hesitate to reach out.
