I’m Carrie Hirst, a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Alpharetta, GA. I specialize in working with individuals and couples navigating life’s challenges — from relationship struggles and betrayal recovery to anxiety, depression, co-parenting issues, grief processing and substance abuse. I welcome clients from all walks of life, including those in LGBTQ+ and non-traditional relationship structures, and I’m passionate about creating an affirming space for healing and growth. I’m committed to walking alongside you as you rediscover your resilience and find greater peace and fulfillment.

I believe that therapy is most effective when the client–therapist relationship feels genuine, collaborative, and empowering. My therapeutic approach draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Relational Therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), while integrating tools from Gottman Method, Family Systems, and other evidence-based practices.
