In my practice, I work with adolescents, children and adults. My specialties include: relationship problems, adolescent development, health psychology, depression, and anxiety. Infertility counseling is also a special interest of mine, including third party reproduction issues (donor and surrogacy). My therapeutic approach varies depending on the issues with which you are struggling and who you are as a person. I don't have one approach that fits all clients but tailor my work to the individual. In general, I help clients identify and enhance their current psychological strengths in order to address their problems.
I have over 20 years experience working as a licensed psychologist. A majority of my work is related to reproductive medicine and family building. I conduct donor evaluations and gestational carrier (surrogate) evaluations as well as recipient/intended parent consultations. LGBTQ folks are warmly welcomed.
I also specialize in perinatal and post-partum depression and anxiety. In addition, I address many health psychology concerns including cancer, cardiac disease, and fertility preservation prior to chemotherapy. You may email me at carrie@dreichberg.com.
