Hi there, I'm Carrie! My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, rooted in compassion, collaboration, and a deep commitment to empowering clients to achieve meaningful change. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop mindfulness skills and foster psychological flexibility, aligning their actions with their values. Drawing from the Humanistic-Existential approach, I guide clients in exploring their personal life experiences to uncover their full potential while addressing universal aspects of the human condition, such as isolation, meaning, and freedom.
Additionally, my use of Client-Centered Therapy (CCT) emphasizes genuine empathy and understanding, creating a safe and supportive environment where clients feel truly heard and cared for. Together, these approaches help clients navigate challenges and build a life of authenticity and purpose.
I am honored to work with clients across the lifespan, as I believe every chapter of life comes with its unique challenges and opportunities for growth. As a Doula and birth/body-feeding educator, I am particularly passionate about supporting parents and soon-to-be parents, navigating pregnancy, grief and loss, and other parental concerns.
