I relocated to beautiful Mendocino County from Chico in 2019. I have been honored to have my private practice for over 36 years now. I see people of all ages for anxiety, life transitions, depression, and grief. I focus on strengths, supportive therapy, and the sacredness of grief expression. I will help you find your own solutions through reflecting your deeper self. I mainly see individuals for psychotherapy and older children for Play Therapy. In this high tech age, children need low tech play. I have a wait list for children. Please call anytime and leave a message.
One specialty is Play Therapy with children. Before becoming a therapist, I taught preschool for many years as well as Parent groups. Play is the natural language of children; we have creative fun learning to work through issues. We use art, sand tray, puppets, games, dramatic play. I mainly see adults for psychotherapy, treating depression, anxiety, PTSD.
I am a warm, patient, positive, creative therapist who can work with a variety of people. I have over three decades of experience and continue to attend workshops and classes to better my skills. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental and caring space for my clients to grow. Healing is always possible.
