I believe that while our circumstances and stories are varied, we are all seeking connection, understanding and relief. Depression and anxiety often stem from profound experiences of loss or a disrupted sense of belonging. When we undergo significant losses, whether the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, or the departure from a familiar community, we can feel adrift and disconnected. These experiences can erode our sense of purpose and identity, leading to feelings of isolation and despair, Rebuilding a sense of connection and finding new sources of support are crucial steps in the healing journey.
I work with individuals and couples. I am an EMDR Certified Therapist and have advanced training in betrayal trauma and Brainspotting. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and the Gottman Method (levels 1, 2 & 3). My work incorporates many somatic & mindfulness practices which are foundational for healing, and ultimately, transformation.
