I am a strength based therapist, meaning I believe we each have strengths that can be built upon. I have a passion for children, adolescents and families. A family is a system with a great deal of moving parts that often need some adjusting. As your counselor I will first LISTEN with empathy and compassion and then help to identify goals. You may be a parent struggling to reach your child, a spouse feeling unsupported or a teen having no idea how to navigate. I can help you to process your struggles and develop effective, practical strategies to realize change.
I specialize in family conflict with intact, blended and divorcing families. I work with depression, anxiety and ADHD and am passionate about teaching adolescents and adults to successfully manage ADHD. I am skilled at addressing school related issues, including IEPs and 504s. I provide parent education and behavior management services.
