Whether or not you have engaged in counseling or art therapy before, you are welcome here. I applaud you for taking this big step of seeking out change in your life through the right fit for therapy. What I can offer you is empathetic and compassionate support in navigating life’s challenges while guiding you towards your innate capacity to heal. I see art as a tool for discovery, empowerment, and transformation. I embrace a person-centered approach by meeting you where you are at and hold the values of transparency and collaboration with my clients – I encourage your questions and feedback.
I work with clients on accessing their strengths and in integrating their emotions, parts, and past experiences by establishing safety in the present, and titrating between the past and present in order to achieve a sense of wholeness. I believe that the more we can know ourselves, the more ability we have to change and heal.
Providing my clients with a caring therapeutic environment and co-regulation through the therapeutic relationship is key for allowing a more stabilized nervous system and a deeper dive into your experiences. If you’re struggling, just know you deserve support – and I am here to offer that to you. I look forward to working with you!
