In my mind, the ideal client is someone who has recognized that some aspect of their life is no longer working and is ready to take steps to restore balance. This person is seeking help to get their life back on track. I enjoy working with a variety of clients, including individuals, couples, and families. The people who seek counseling to validate that change is necessary, and who desire professional guidance to collaborate in identifying their natural strengths (or at least their potential capabilities) to overcome difficulties, tend to be goal-oriented. These clients are especially exciting to work with and a safe space to be in.
I specialize in working with individuals, couples, young adults, and parent-child relationships. My focus includes addressing communication issues and personal negative self-talk. These areas are key to how we perceive, react to, and direct our own behaviors.
I am passionate about helping anyone who is willing to place their trust in me to work through the mental health challenges they are experiencing. I enjoy exploring new places and hope to travel more with my husband one day. In my free time, I indulge in many hobbies.
