My areas of expertise are in serving survivors of gender-based violence, people who have experienced trauma, LGBTQIA+ individuals , and individual's experiencing postpartum mental health challenges. Particularly people experiencing depression, anxiety, gender dysphoria, adjustment challenges, various forms of trauma involving abuse and neglect, body image concerns, domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking.
My approach to therapy is to employ a strength’s-based lens using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing to empower every client. Additionally, using an anti-racist and anti-oppression lens in her practice with clients is vital to navigating the intersectional nature of all human experiences
I modify my therapeutic approach to best suit the individualized needs of clients and strive to create an authentic and non-judgmental therapeutic space where clients can explore life’s challenges. In doing so, I hope to guide clients down the path to living a more balanced and fully authentic life.
