As a licensed therapist, I am committed to empowering women and teenage girls to navigate life's complexities with confidence. My practice focuses on supporting women and non-binary individuals of all ages who face challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image issues. My goal is to guide my clients in reconnecting with their body's wisdom by fostering a sense of safety within the nervous system and enhancing self-awareness around triggers and unhealthy behavioral patterns rooted in trauma.
I use a client-centered approach, integrating CBT, Somatic Therapy, Art Therapy, Eco Therapy, and mindfulness to help clients build resilience. By providing a safe environment, I empower them to explore thoughts and emotions at their own pace. My experience spans private practice, hospitals, and community settings, supporting clients in achieving their goals
When I am not in the office, I enjoy coaching high school volleyball for the Iowa City Little Hawks, hiking with my dog Denver, creating art, yoga, and spending time with family and friends. I believe in the healing power of community, creativity and nature, which often influences my therapeutic work.
