A warm welcome to all courageous seekers. Do you struggle with anxiety/social anxiety, stage of life changes, grief, low self worth, confidence, assertiveness, boundaries, identity, or relationships? I would love to help you get unstuck, to heal, and reconnect to your wisdom in these areas and more. I truly believe there is a path to finding greater mental and emotional resilience, psychological flexibility and creative ways to find peace in the body and mind. I am a down to earth, direct/dynamic, experienced, holistic provider who will help you to help yourself cope, accept what is difficult, and reduce anxiety and depression.
I am a DBT and somatically informed therapist with a background in yoga and other wellness services who is passionate about the integration of integrative and functional medicine with mental health goals. I will meet you where you are and then help customize goals and outcomes; I believe my humanistic approach combined with dynamic interaction is unique.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me to find out if we would be a good fit. I hope to be your guide in discovering greater clarity, peace of mind, self compassion, greater acceptance, and wisdom within

A typical treatment plan is going to focus on establishing areas where we need to improve coping and functioning in areas where there is anxiety, depression, trauma and grief. Then other areas in need of healing/strength will come into focus but I am known best for helping others with assertiveness, boundary setting, interpersonal effectiveness, self worth and life transitions.

I will often start out by grounding us in CBT and then we will flow into DBT and include a customized plan that will integrate Polyvagal, Mindfulness/Somatics: meditation, breathwork, restorative forms of Yoga. I also will sometimes use ACT (Acceptance and Committment) and IFS (Internal Family Systems). I give homework and tend to be more directive/educational, especially in the beginning.
